Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence

A big thank you to all who have taken the time to write a Mooshy La La review for Tripadvisor…….all these gestures mean a great deal to us small independent businesses … It’s fantastic to be able to follow your dream especially surrounded by such beautiful things that each have a wonderful story to tell – but in this mad world of mass consumerism, it’s very hard to compete with huge national & global companies in getting people to spend their very hard earned cash! I am so pleased that there are lots of people out there that don’t buy into this “sheeple” mania and still have that individual style & most of all a mind of their own!! THANK YOU TRIPADVISOR REVIEWERS … Please please keep them coming, small (out of town) shops like me rarely get a mention on Local tourist sites but visitors REALLY DO read reviews in Tripadvisor when planning a visit to a city or resort. I am so proud to receive this CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE, Thank you ♥

BUT ….PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!

KEEP SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS (ESPECIALLY WE ‘BRICK-&-MORTAR’ SMALL INDEPENDENTS) You are without doubt aware of the financial struggle we small ‘SHOPS’ are facing and it’s a no-brainer that unless you support us WE WILL BE GONE!!!!! This is what we do, we do not have jobs through the week and supplement our income at weekends, at markets and fairs, or sell through e-commerce from our homes (I am in no way knocking the fairs & eBay sellers’ I am just making people aware who take us little shops for granted, and have no sense of the overheads we pay!)……. we pay rents and rates and utilities and give you an ACTUAL shopping experience! We chat, we are humans, we have faces, we have a listening ear! (We also do a hell of a lot of one-to-one counseling and therapy sessions within the community, a community with a rising mental health problem – ask anyone who has a little shop!!!!!!!)

Please don’t forget about us little independent ‘non essential’ businesses when this is all over, they are very ‘essential’ to us, store owners, and if you want us on your High Street then please remember to use us when you’re thinking of birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day etc. Just spend a little time visiting us as opposed to just picking something up in the supermarket. Please don’t let us all fade away it’s going to be hard to pick up the pieces! 😘💋❤️ #saveindependent #smallbizowner #saveourhighstreets #smithdownroad #smithdown #liverpoolshopping
From the archives of MooshyLaLa :this amazing antique Art Deco tunic was made from sheer black silk devorè, the velvet relief pattern was deep rich jewel tones of ruby, emerald and sapphire trimmed with real fur! A piece I was so reluctant to part with!!!
